scented // midnight rain

Is by Meimi, that wonderful Goddess who brings joy and happiness to the hearts of Ingrids.
This time, Meimi brought joy by doing a layout of Isumi Shinichirou and Waya Yoshitaka, of Hikaru no Go. It is full of wub.

So is this good or not?

Feel weird.

Kind of hurt, kind of excited, kind of annoyed, kind of relieved, and almost entirely hopefully. I'm not sure yet how it's going to turn out, aside from making me loose some sleep out of sheer stress relief crying, but I think it's good, maybe. I'm not sure. I hope so. I'm thinking maybe people are better than I usually give them credit for?

It's hard to tell.

I need to go to bed, because I have a class tomorrow morning, and I need to cry until I'm empty, I think. But it's a good kind of crying. I've been working very hard not to cry all summer, so I think I'm long overdue, as long as I don't let it get out of hand.

Sometimes it's a good thing.

One of these days, I'm going to remember that if I drink coke products too quickly, I end up feeling like I'm going to throw up. Ugh. I think I'm going to lie down for a bit.

Welcome to Saskatoon . . .

Note new e-mail address.

I am now moved in and set up in S'toon. Well, more or less. Tonight I'm going to be sleeping on the couch because I unpacked a lot of books and put them on my bed, and I'm too tired to do anything with them. I planned on doing stuff with them tonight, but I got kidnapped. To play Civilization. Again.

If I'm going to get any of my stuff done, I'm getting the feeling I'm going to have to learn to say no to people. Because, fsck, on top of walking everywhere in a city I don't know, and classes, and sleeping, and stuff, time will just be sucked like a sucked up thing. Sigh.

Not suffering from massive homesickness - I feel somehow bad about this, should I miss my family more? - but am starting to feel kind of lonely. Which is weird, when I've actually spent time with people . . . Isolation? Dunno. Regardless, have mostly kept that at bay by watching Prince of Tennis. A lot of things still drive me batty about it's presentation, but dammit, Ryoma's bloody adorable.

Couch crashing time.

The Great Move
8/31/2003 08:31:35 AM
So, I'm going to be going for the great move this afternoon, and I'll be internetless for a couple of days. Do not e-mail me, as the shaw address will no longer work (I'll be sending out an e-mail to this effect, anyway).

But, before I go, love and hugs to many people:

Cathy, for getting me an autographed copy of Neil Gaiman's Wolves in the Walls -and- a poster - love you, dear. Hee. Dead wolf drawing.

Stephen, for being a good overlord and sending me yet another cracktastic mix cd. ^_^

Meimi, 'cause she needs love and hugs right now. Hopefully things will calm down for you soon, sweetie.

Meril, 'cause she rocks and has also started her school stuff. And she got me a Loki pencil board. Mmmm. Loki.

Meia, for being an evil force of crack and quite likely dragging me into the pit that is Prince of Tennis. To which I can only say . . . NARUGAMI/LOKI!

My employers, who not only took me out for curry during my last week, but gave me a fifty dollar gift certificate for the bookstore in S'toon. <3

And Dice, for putting up with me all summer, and giving me the world's coolest coat that isn't made of leather.

I will return, triumphant and Guthrie free.

If not, avenge my death.
