layout
Is by Meimi, that wonderful Goddess who brings joy and happiness to the hearts of Ingrids.
This time, Meimi brought joy by doing a layout of Isumi Shinichirou and Waya Yoshitaka, of Hikaru no Go. It is full of wub.

Cyclical

Massive, massive hugs and love to Meimi. It'll get better once things get started, sweetie.

Another day in the life of Ingrid

Hugs and kisses to all those who were concerned, worried, and generally full of well-wishes. People are good people. Depression has abated, after a surprisingly good day, in which Jenn surprised me at work, and I got -stuff-.

What stuff, you ask, knowing me to be materialistic.

One - a coat. Dice gave it to me. 'cause she rocks. And it doesn't fit her. It's a long long long army coat, and black. Not leather, but long, and black. And so cool. But Dice is leaving tomorrow morning. Wah. ;_;

Also, I have Loki 18, but I haven't watched it yet. I'm going to watch it tomorrow morning, assuming I manage to wake up on time, and quite possibly gush at Meia about it. Or any other willing victim.

I didn't watch it, because I went to Coles after work, with Dice, and then, on a whim, we went into EB Games, so I could look at the used PSX games. And there, I saw it, on the top shelf, like a vision . . .

Discworld II: Mortality Bytes. For fifteen dollars.

After a debate about whether or not we should try and climb the small shelves to get it (because it was very high, and we are both quite short), whether we should go and find a pointy stick to try and smack it down, we got the store clerk guy to get it for us (note: he got to climb on the shelves). And it was bought. My first experience buying something with plastic.

Love, man. Just, love.

I would have spent all night playing it, but Jenn wanted to do stuff, so she came over, and then we left to rent Wayne's World (horribly bad and occaisionally funny movie), and abduct Sarri, who was twitchy and stressed, so we also went and go her some sissy booze, after two bottles of which, and a sudden evaporation of complicated social problems, she was much better.

It is a good day, despite the beginning of stomach cramps, and far too much me staring sleepily at work. Damn work. Two days left.

Depression

Feels like I'm sinking into another depression - I probably just need a good cry, or a good beating up of something, but I'm going to walk my dog, and do the dishes, and pack up as much random stuff as possible so Dad can take it to Saskatoon tomorrow when he goes to assemble my furniture.

I hate feeling like this, and there's nothing (acceptable) that I can do.

Currently feeling very lonely, and strangely frustrated: this too shall pass.

Pink footballs!

Mrr. Feel nicely sleepy now, after a relaxing evening spent playing "Heroes of Might and Magic III" and reading "The Ogre Downstairs". Nice game, nice book.

I'm looking forward to having my desk back so I can write properly again, though.

It's starting to get cold again at night - had to find some sheets and some susbtitute blankets, since we moved most of my bedding to Saskatoon, even though the sheets won't fit the bed Erin gave me. Life can be needlessly complicated some days.

Tomorrow I will hopefully be able to wake up on bloody time for once. But, more importantly - Chris and Marie are taking me out for lunch. Mmmmm. Food. <3

Ugh, feel like shit

Three cheers for Meimi, who is now at college! She's all grown up. ^_^

Went shopping today, but not for all the stuff I need (in less than a week - panic! panic!), went solo, and got myself two pairs of pants and a shirt - I don't need any shirts, but dark green men's silk shirt, buggerit, I'm allowed a few weaknesses. One pair of pants is black, one is tan.

I don't like shopping, even in thrift stores.

Other than that, the high point of the day is coming home to find Meia wrote me a Kou-chan drabble. WUB! And I shall shower extensive love on her later, via comments. But at the moment, I have to clean all the stuff I didn't finish packing off my bed, and possibly put sheets on it as well.

The low point of the day is probably being made to feel totally clueless and out of the loop by my friends, but I'm used to that.

I wonder if I'm a movie snob, or just intensely introverted to the point where other people being extroverted makes me uncomfortable?

My chest is bothering me. I'm starting to think that going off the asthma meds was a bad idea. Fsck.
