Now, I know this must seem picky of me, but I'd really like to have a job, lasting longer than a few days, in which, and I want to be perfectly clear on this, I do not have to deal with any floods in the vicinity of paper products at all.
I just had to spend the last hour or so rescuing boxes of papery things and general files from a flood in the basement. Chris isn't very happy, and the place was as humid as a fucking jungle.
I now have very wet boots, very wet socks, wet pants, and wet feet.
I'm going to read "The Truth" and hope my shoes and socks are moderately dry before I have to go home.

Apparently last night I missed seeing Kris make an idiot of himself on tv when he was spontaneously interviewed by the CBC. I feel disappointed.
I also found out that once, many many years ago, when Mum was being interviewed on the CBC, they introduced her as "Sylvia". And, years later, when she was dealing with some MLAs concerning the Long Term Plan, they were convinced her name was Sylvia.
. . . Weird.

Mythical Detective Loki Screencap Recaps continues to shuffle along quietly - I'm up to episode seven and feeling quite proud of my little site.
I also start unsupervised work tomorrow. My boss is on holiday until the last week of August, or something. I have complete power. It's a bit intimidating.
Also working on getting moved out. I'm rather confused about how some things will work, like telephone and internet connection, but I'm sure I'll figure it out, or get someone to figure it out for me, before too long.
