Is by Meimi, that wonderful Goddess who brings joy and happiness to the hearts of Ingrids.
This time, Meimi brought joy by doing a layout of Isumi Shinichirou and Waya Yoshitaka, of Hikaru no Go. It is full of wub.

The CLAMP Mailing List is once again having a discussion about the evens in X 16, as they pertain to Tokyo Babylon.

Does this have to crop up every other month? Sheesh.

I have a barely supressed urge to cry. I can't quite figure out why that is.

Howl's Moving Castle fanart. Japanese, of course. Surprisingly good. Normally, I fling my hands up and go "Ah! No! That's not Howl!" But, a couple of these really do look like Howl. The expression's perfect. The last one, on the right, is very Ghibliesque, I think. Maybe we can look forward to Howl looking something like that.

Pretties.

[Spell your first name back wards]: Dirgni.
[The story behind your LJ user name]: Yes, I know this isn't on livejournal. But my livejournal user name is the same user name as I use for everything else, if I'm not constricted to some specific size. It's the name of my fictional family orchard.
[Are you a lesbian?]: Asexual.
[How old?]: Eighteen.
[Where do you live?]: Frozen Hell - Saskatchewan.
[4 words that sum you up]: Really weird, self-loathing, private, depressive.

DESCRIBE YOUR-
[Wallet]: Black. With patterns sewn on it in different shades of blue thread on the outside, and three different patterns sewn on the interior in lots of different colours. It's very pretty and was a gift from my aunt and uncle and cousins on year at Christmas, a very very long time ago. Wallet is ancient.
[Hairbrush]: I use a comb. It's grey.
[Toothbrush]: Crest, usually. Whatever kind's on sale.
[Jewelry worn daily]: Does my watch count? It's the only thing I wear daily. Sometimes I wear my silver braclet, or my dragon necklace, or my amythyst pendant, or the turtle fetish, or the pretty pretty necklace my Fiora made me. But not always.
[Pillow cover]: One cream with funny coloured cats, the other white, with three emrbiodered cats on the end.
[Blanket]: Which one? Covers are cream and funny cats, then there's a cat comforter, and a cat afghan, and the cat bag. ^_^
[Coffee cup]: Tea cup. Garfield one that says "I'm Roadkill on the Information Superhighway" or my "Henry V" cup.
[Sunglasses]: Geeky clipons that aren't actually meant to fit over my glasses.
[Underwear]: White hanes briefs. And a bra of some kind.
[Shoes]: Black hiking boots. All I own.
[Handbag]: Fsck that.
[Favorite top]: Baggy mens t-shirt. Perferably in black or blue.
[Favorite pants]: Black slacks.
[Cologne/Perfume]: I'm scent sensitive. I stay away from that crap.
[CD in stereo right now]: Barenaked Ladies mix cd.
[Tattoos]: I don't like needles.
[Piercings]: I don't like more holes in my body than I need.
[What you are wearing now]: Plaid blue sleep pants, grey sports bra, black Gundam Wing t-shirt ('cause nothing says "sweet dreams" like a huge robot of death), and my cat bag.
[Hair]: Long, braided, dark brown.
[Makeup]: Never.

WHO or WHAT (was/is/are) -
[In my mouth]: My tongue and teeth. And saliva.
[In my head]: Pain, oh hell, the pain the pain, heee, I love Pete
[Wishing]: To be in bed right now. And not have to go to a lab in the afternoon. Or leave the house at all.
[After this]: Read. Or shower. Or eat something. Maybe.
[Talking to]: My Fiora.
[Eating]: Food is overrated.
[Fetishes]: Velvet, silk, leather, satin . . .
[If you could get away with it and murder anyone, who and for what reason?]: Let's not make incriminating comments where anyone could find them.
[Person you wish you could see right now ]: My Fiora.
[Is next to you]: A small shelf thing. With books and cds and a teapot and teacup and plate on it. And lots of sticky notes attached to it.
[Some of your favorite movies]: Casablanca.
[Something you're looking forward to in the upcoming months]: . . . Christmas vacation.
[The last thing you ate?]: A piece of zucchini bread.
[Something that you are deathly afraid of?]: Loss.

ETC _
[Do you like candles]: Hell yes.
[Do you like hot wax]: Only in candle form.
[Do you like incense]: Sometimes. I don't use it much.
[Do you like the taste of blood]: Only my own.
[Do you believe in love]: No.
[Do you believe in soul mates]: No.
[Do you believe in love at first sight]: No.
[Do you believe in Heaven]: Sometimes. Usually. Depends on my mood.
[Do you believe in forgiveness]: I believe in forgiving. I don't believe I'm ever forgiven.
[Do you believe in God]: I think so. S'got a wicked sense of humour, though.
[What do you want done with your body when you die]: Burnt. Very very thoroughly. Then scattered around Prince Edward Island.
[Who is your worst enemy?]: Myself.
[If you could have any animal for a pet]: I miss my cats.
[What is the latest you've ever stayed up]: Six thirty. In the morning. I got up, like, two hours later.
[Ever been to Belgium?]: ~slap~
[Can you eat with chopsticks]: I managed it once.
[What's your favorite coin?]: Dimes are pretty.
[What are 5 cities you wouldn't mind relocating to?]: Somewhere in Prince Edward Island (anywhere), anywhere in Scotland that wasn't Edinburg or Glasgow, Millbrooke, Kyoto, um, Halifax.
[What are some of your favorite pig out foods?]: Homemade cookies, ice cream sandwhiches, and pieeeeeeee until I barf.
[What's something that you wish people would understand?]: Whatever it is that makes them think I'm seriously fscked up and need psychiatric help.
[What's something you wish you could understand better?]: Why people do what they do.
[Anyone you miss that you haven't seen in a long time?]: Emily.
[What's one thing you want to make happen for tomorrow?]: I'd like my stomach to stop hurting, please.

Hmm . . . let's see . . .

Meimi's mother will suffer unimagineable horrors if I ever meet her in a dark alley.

My mother made cookies (with chocolate chips in them, at my request) and zucchini bread, and she bought me a pie.

I may not be on next weekend. Nevermind that.

I hate my uterus, and if I were to get a sex change, it would be solely to avoid the unending pain brought on by the menstrual cycle. I don't care if the regular wash of hormones does my body some kind of good, it obviously isn't as physically beneficial as it is for some, and I'm almost willing to embrace the thought of menapause at an early age.

Tomorrow I should call Glen and see if he still wants me on Tuesday and tell him I'll be available to work on Friday mornings as well. I'll also have to go by the bank, and mail a check to the university, giving them most of my life savings. Bastards.

Have physics lab tomorrow, we'll see how much I fsck up -there-.

Spent most of the day reading, when I wasn't in unendurable agony. Sorry for ignoring you, Jinxy, I was being rather ill in the bathroom, and glad you're enjoying the fic.

It's nice to reread old childhood favourites. I'm about halfway through Emily of New Moon. Emily's nicer than Anne, but Isle is delightful. Sadly - not her books. Teddy's got some Mother Issues and I don't like him nearly as much as I like Gilbert (but most of that stems from how crappily Anne treats him and us sharing a name). I really like Perry, though. He's such an awful, adorable little ruffian. I can't help loving him. He and Isle are favourites. I'd like to be able to create enduring, wonderful characters like that some day.

Finished the Seregil books Thea leant me, I'll have to find the third book somehow. Dont' know if Thea has it. Haven't seen her. No surprise there. Sigh. No, Meril, not neglecting Honor, I will read eventually, honest. Cross my heart and all. I already explained about the concentration thing.

More random yet - Stephen, I should have everything burnt in a few days, if things go well. Yay me. ^_^

To cap it off - I <3 Waya Yoshitaka.

And no one ever reads these long ones through to the end. Heh.
