layout
Is by Meimi, that wonderful Goddess who brings joy and happiness to the hearts of Ingrids.
This time, Meimi brought joy by doing a layout of Isumi Shinichirou and Waya Yoshitaka, of Hikaru no Go. It is full of wub.

Bad mood still going on and off. Humanity still mostly sucks.

I was able to mail Cathy the rest of the X manga I have for less than fifteen bucks. I was -very- pleased.

I've mostly been watching anime. I watched the last three episodes of FLCL, and the Utena movie, and some episodes of Fruits Basket that Jinxer sent me, and it was all very good, and I actually cried during the episode about Momiji's family. Wah. ~sniffles~

Keiichi's cd burner -still- isn't working. I am not pleased.

We went to Saskatoon today. I drove some, and got "talked at in a loud voice" because I wobbled toward the centre line sometimes. Guthrie needed new shoes for dance, and then he needed volleyball shoes, and then an alarm clock, and a bunch of wrestling posters, and a book he probably won't read. The bookstore was an evil temptation, for there was Shadow Puppet, Science of the Discworld: The Globe, The Amber Spyglass (with an ugly cover, but still), and The Curse of Chalion. Last Hero wasn't there. I also wanted to get some Diana Wynne Jones for Thea. But the mother was doing her traditional "You can't buy things, you're going to school" glare, and so I made her buy me Lirael, because I don't think the library'll get it in. I really wanted Shadow Puppet, though, and now I'll have to wait for it to come to the library, or maybe Christmas. Whichever comes first. Dont' hold your breath.

I also managed to make my parents take me to an art supply store. Where I had to spend my own money (didn't hear Mum wail there). I just bought a can of fixative and a new pad of sketch paper, because I don't have any paper left to draw on. I also got a free box of kraft dinner. I kid you not.

The main law of shounen manga: the main character must be totally clueless.

Toriyama's World brings me pleasure in the darkest of night.

Screw CLAMP. The far more worth Hotta Yumi and Obata Takeshi now own my soul.

I wonder if there's an online store where I can buy the artbook . . .

I miss e-mail.

That is all.

"I wish I was dead. No I don't. I just wish everyone else was dead." -Calvin, from Calvin and Hobbes

Keiichi and my cd burner continue to refuse to speak to one another. Fsck.

Thanks for the suggestion though, Meril. It was worth a try, eh?

Look, University of Saskatchewan and SIAST, tell me. You have geeks labouring in your dungeons making your fancy webpages, and you can't even put up something that says "Classes start . . ." on your webpage?

Fsck you. I am not impressed.

Postscript: Classes start on the fifth. Now if only I could figure out where my classes are and if there's any crap I have to deal with before hand

Cathy, I love you. You just made my day. Seriously. However you sent those books, send everything like that from now on. ^_^ No monetary transaction and man - speed! I thought you said six weeks or so. XD

I now have a Mister Black. He is sitting ontop of Keiichi's monitor, balancing on a stuffed cat and a stuffed bat. He dominates. He is lord of the stuffed . . . things.

I want to scream and rant and rave about how stupidly my old high school is handling the french immersion program. But it's late and it would be long. Or incoherent. Or both.

I work tomorrow.

Good night kittens.

Ohshitohshitohshit, are Ingrid's first words after reading the latest installement of Hikaru no Go from those godlike individuals at Toriyama's World.

That is all.
