Is by Meimi, that wonderful Goddess who brings joy and happiness to the hearts of Ingrids.
This time, Meimi brought joy by doing a layout of Isumi Shinichirou and Waya Yoshitaka, of Hikaru no Go. It is full of wub.

Stupid spandex

"I'm here to play with Kailen. Please don't eat my skin." - Collin Sri'vastra, Friendly Hostility.

So, I could talk about how my big toe's kind of oozing gross stuff, or how the demons in Dehuai's tower in Shadow Hearts have appendages that look very like elongated penii, or how my friends have been acting really strangely of late.

But I won't. Instead, I'll bemoan the fact that a certain -someone- has gotten me hooked on spandex comics. Or, a specific spandex comic. Impulse. Really, it doesn't take so long to bemoan something, though, and I've only read three issues, because the torrent with scans of the rest of the series is going slower than a snail. I recognize the irony, and I do not appreciate it. Because it only took about six pages of the first volume to have me hooked on silly, spastic, not so bright Bart Allen. But still, I'm bemoaning the indignity of the fact, especially after Meia evilly pimped it to me, and Noel was telling me all sorts of cute and amusing things . . . I stopped in at the bookstore to hunt for stuff for people, and saw their selection of Impulse comics and was -this- close to blowing my rent money on it. Possibly I still will buy some, after I give myself time to see if this complete bugfuck insanity fades.

I have to work tomorrow. This makes me sad. Maybe when I'm done, Impulse will have finally downloaded.

My toe hurts quite a lot.

There's fireworks outside, and I'm not sure why. Was there a holiday that someone forgot to tell me about?

Waving away the dust

So, back from another stay in the suburbs, this one much uneventful. There was an encounter with Kingdom Hearts, an elaborate fantasy about a gun-totting pie-loving bus-hijacker, the world's most inept kidnapping operation, and some really shitty hours at work.

. . . Really, I think that's all.

Oh, and a bunch of Korean "candy" was sampled last night at Dice's new place of residence. There was a sausage-like thing that tasted kind of like crab flavoured cheese, and a lot like death. I chewed it very briefly before I spit it out. It was the most revolting thing I've ever tasted, ever.

Last night my tastebuds died,
